It’s been a bit quieter on here since the intensity of making and launching our album. It’s now out there in the real world. Apparently it’s been streamed over 300 times on Spotify. We hope it’s been enjoyed by those who are listening.
As you can see in this video below in which I look very tired, we now have the album available on vinyl and sounding beautiful. The good people at Elastic Stage did a lovely job with it. If you’re an artist or you know an artist who is self-producing music and wants to put vinyl out then send them to Elastic Stage. Have you bought a vinyl copy yet? Do it!
As well as getting the vinyl sorted, I also played the Dalstonbury festival. Organised by the brilliant Asher One Two and taking place for charity in the Crisis shop on Kingsland Road it was lots of fun.
I thought I’d share the video for you dear reader. Check it out below.
As ever we’re working on getting Yonatan over to London so that we can play some shows together. I know the day will come.
I’ve been writing some more stuff and even getting some of it down on record in my very humble home studio set up (see below). I’m considering putting some of it out as a solo effort but there’s no rush. There are definitely some songs that are Spilberk Hill ones - and for that we’ll wait till we get Yonatan to London.
That’s it for now. Our sleeve notes have been written and will shortly be sent out to our Kickstarter backers (thank you again). Once a respectable amount of time has passed we’ll post some of that on here so others can dig deeper into the Spilberk Hill albums.
Other than that, enjoy the summer and Yonatan - if you’re reading this, start planning your trip. Our sofa is waiting for you.
P.S don’t forget to listen to our album and share it with anyone you think might enjoy it.
